Packet 15
HW/website from 12/6 (see blog)
Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra notes (be able to recognize the instruments of the orchestra) (#26)

We'll take the quiz during the 2nd hour of class, so you'll also be expected to know some facts about symphonies and Beethoven.

The quiz will be open binder.

Daily Warm Up for Tuesday, 12/7

Tomorrow we're going to play a game!

Here's what you have to do to get ready for it:

1. Research "symphony" and "Beethoven".
(When researching "symphony", look for general information about symphonies, not specific information about particular symphonies).

2. Write down as many interesting facts about your two topics as possible . . .
Here's the catch: when we play the game, you will only get credit for sharing facts that nobody else has written down. So! Work hard to find some less obvious information! Make sure to indicate where you found your information (the name of the website will suffice).

3. Another catch! Now, you get to make up some facts! At least 5 of them. Can you sneak some "false facts" into your list of true ones and trip us up?

We'll review the rules of the game in more detail tomorrow!
